BJMC maul Arambag
Team BJMC thrashed Arambagh 5-0 to register the biggest win in this edition of Grameenphone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Guinean forward Ismael Bangoura scored a brace to help BJMC post the big win. With the win BJMC took their tally to 13 points from eight matches while Arambagh remained on their previous eight points from eight matches.
BJMC took the lead in the 14th minute when Arambagh goalie Mostafizur Rahman Shawon failed to grip an Ajagoun Abdul Rasheed shot and unmarked forward Md. Biplob placed the ball inside the net (1-0).
BJMC midfielder Abdullah Parvez known for his left footed skills doubled the margin in the 18th minute as he beat Shawon at the far post with curved shot from the top of the box (2-0).
Ismael Bangoura, the Guinean forward of BJMC scored the third in the 20th minute as he provided a through pass the ball to Nigerian attacking partner Ajagoun Abdul Rashid and Rashid cut the ball back to Bangoura who placed the ball in the near post (3-0)
In the 60th minute Bangoura added his second after Ajagoun Abdul Rashid paved the way for him from the left flank and Bangoura tapped the ball in from a close range (4-0)
Uche Felix, the Nigerian midfielder scored the fifth in the 79th minute with a powerful shot from 25 yards (5-0)
