BD faces Jordan on Wednesday
Dhaka, June 19: Bangladesh faces Jordan in the third match of the AFC U-22 Championship group D qualifiers at the Dasharath Stadium, Kathmandu on Wednesday. The match starts at3:30 pm BST.
Consecutive two loses against Nepaland Uzbekistan has left the players a little demoralized and they are still to absorb the shock of losing against Uzbekistan caused by a fumble of goalkeeper Sohel.
Coach Syed Golam Jilani and manager Iqbal Hossian was tryingto lift the confidence of their boys. “Yes, they were shocked but at the sametime we are trying to point out that they have played better against the top ranked team of the meet, I hope the boys will take the field with new determination” said Jilani.
Jilani will include Sobuj Das Roghu under the bar and Shakahawat Rony will be in the playing eleven insteadof Wahed.
Jordanthrashed Yemen 4-0 earlierand looks to be the most formidable outfit, but they will miss the services of their skipper Hamza al Dardour who was red carded against Yemen. Mahmoud Za'tara, Mus'ab Allahham, and Khalil Zaid are their key players.
