BD face Yemen on Sunday
Dhaka, June 23: Bangladesh take on Yemen in their last match of the AFC U-22 Championship group D qualifiers at 3:30 pm BST at the Dasharath Stadium on Sunday.
Coach Syed Golam Jilani asked his boys to fight hard to earn at least a draw. He will go for a defensive strategy of 4-1-4-1 focusing upon blocking the Yemen attackers in the midfield.
For the formation Jilani has decided to include midfielder Shahedul Alam. One forward either Sohel Rana or Shakahwat Rony will be excluded from the last match’s starting list.
“I have asked my boys to show their worth at least in the last match, we will play not to concede a goal first and then look for scoring, Yemen has a couple of good attackers so we have to very careful” said Jilnai.
Meanwhile Abraham Abraham Mebratu, the Ethiopian coach of Yemen said his team will be ready to attack Bangladesh. “I have seen Bangladesh defence is disorganized, we will try to exploit it” said Abraham.
