Dhaka, June 30: The age verification of Pioneer Football
League will start from July 10 and it was finalized in a coordination meeting
between Bangladesh Football Federation and the representatives of the Pioneer
League at the BFF House on Saturday.
A total of 86 club representatives were present in the meeting
that was presided over by BFF president Kazi Salahuddin. It was also decided
that the clubs will be split into 20
groups and the matches will be held at 10 venues. Salahuddin assured the clubs
of providing financial assistance and ten footballs each. He also pledged about
providing higher level training to the selected talented players.
Sheikh Md.Maruf Hasan, the chairman of the Dhaka Metropolis
Football League Committee, Arif Khan Joy, the chairman of the Pioneer Football
League Committee, deputy chairman Bijon Borua, BFF EX-CO members Sirjaul Islam Bachchu,
Fazlur Rahman Babul and Iqbal Hossain were also present in the meeting.
