Dhaka, September 13: Bangladesh coach Saiful Bari Titu expressed confidence of winning against Nepal in the two practice matches at the Dasarath Stadium, Kathmandu on September 18th and 20th respectively. Titu revealed the hope in the press conference that declared the 23 member squad for the two friendly matches. Among the 23 players three players defender Raihan Hasan, forwards Sohel Rana and Anwar Hossain got their first call in the national fold. Titu however was cautious about his aspirations. “We want to win the matches but we have to be cautious, Nepal has speed and is skillfull also, we will adopt a safety first strategy” said Titu. Skipper Md. Shujon hoped his players will not commit the that lead the team to defeat. “We lost to Nepal due to a mistake in the SAFF Championship, we have worked hard not commit mistakes again” said the skipper. However both Titu and Shujon admitted that the team is still attain the full fitness after a lay-off of near three months and only two weeks of training is not enough to gain the full fitness. BFF Ex-Co member Amirul Islam Babu, team manager Satayjit Das Rupu, assistant coach Syed Golam Jilani, Ex-Co member Iqbal Hossain were also present on the occasion.
