BD-Nepal tie on Tuesday
Dhaka, September 17: Bangladesh will lock horns with Nepal in the first of the two match series of exhibition matches at the Dasrath Stadium, Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The match will kick-off at 5:30 pm BST.
However due to the heavy rain fall on Monday the venue was in an unplayable condition and the local organizers said they will have to wait and see till the last moment before reaching a conclusion.
Bangladesh team trained at the Nepal Police Ground on Monday and after the practice session Head Coach Saiful Bari Titu attended the pre-match conference at the match venue. “We are taking both the matches very seriously and Bangladesh will try their best to put a good show” said Titu.
Titu said the defeat against Nepal in the last SAFF Championship was unfortunate.
Skipper Md. Shujon said he expects a tough rivalry against the hosts.
Nepal coach Krishna Thapa said his players are fully fit ahead of the tie and will enjoy the international exposure at home.
