BD-Nepal 2nd match on the cards Thursday
Dhaka, September 19: Sunshine greeted Kathmandu from the Wednesday morning and after inspecting the field, pitch curator Dilip Rajak provided the green signal that the second international friendly between Bangladesh and Nepal is all set to go as the scheduled time on Thursday. The match kicks off at 5:30 BST.
The first friendly match was called off due to poor field condition on Tuesday and Bangladesh booters were frustrated. “The whole team is eager to play a match and we are hopeful of taking the field against Nepal on Thursday” said manager Satyajit Das Rupu.
Rupu said the players played a 40 minutes practice match between them on Tuesday and on trained at the Armed Forces Battalion ground on Wednesday. “The morale is high, the players are motivated to put the best, the conditions are also favorable for good football” said Rupu.
Rupu said as the return is scheduled on 22nd September Bangladesh may play another practice match with any club team on September 21st. “We are trying to arrange it, we have asked the federation to organize another match, lets see what happens” said Rupu
