Dhaka, October 12: Brothers Union tasted their first win in the Grameenphone Federation Cup defeating Jessore DFA 2-0 in the Group C match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
After the barren first half Brothers Union striker Abdul Malek broke the deadlock in the 72nd with a placing shot on a cutback of winger Md Any from the left flank. (1-0)
Substitute striker Md. Yousuf Sifat extended the lead in the 85th minute with a placing shot beating Jessore onrushing goalie Md. Shawon after receiving a through pass from Md. Jamal.
