Dhaka, October 16: Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd moved into the semifinal of Grameenphone Federation Cup beating Team BJMC 3-0 in the penalties in the 2nd quarterfinal held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday. Mohammedan took the lead in the very 3rd minute of the match with their in form Beninese forward Wasio Olalekan providing the lead. Winger Shariful provided a cross from the right flank and Ghanaian midfielder Osai Morrison set Wasio Olalekan free with a square pass, he just had to tap the ball inside the net In the 42nd minute BJMC goalie Aminul brought Morrisson down in the left edge of the box and it was a penalty. Wasio sent Aminul in the wrong way to made it 2-0. In the 57th minute Mohammedan defender Yeasin fouled BJMC forward Ghazi Abdelali in the box but Ajagun Abdoul Rasheed missed the penalty as his spot kick hit the side post. However Rasheed amended his failure by scoring five minutes later by a gentle placing shot past Mohammedan goalie Mamun Khan on through pass of Henry Chindo. Eteki Kingsley scored the equalizer in the second minute of the four minute stoppage time. In the shootout Kali Osman, Imtiaz Sultan Jitu and Robin scored for Mohammedan. Maruf missed while Eteki Kingsley, Ajagun Abdul Rasheed and Henry Chindo failed to score for BJMC.
