Dhaka, October 20: Bangladesh Football Federation handed a one year "Suspended Ban" upon its vice president :Arif Khan Joy for breaching the rules during the October 16th Dhaka Mohammedan-Team BJMC quarterfinal on Saturday. The Disciplinary Committee of the BFF said if Joy further breaks the rule and regulations within next one year time the ban will be automatically imposed upon Joy. As per the punishment Joy will be cut off from all the football related activities if the ban is imposed upon him. However he will have to pay the fine of Tk. 50000.00 as penalty. The Disciplinary Committe also suspended Russell winger Jahid Hossain for three matches for kicking a dead ball on Mohammedan player Sohel Rana who was fouled by another Russell player. Rezaul Karim, the Russell official who assaulted assistant referee Amanat Halder was suspended for six matches and Russell was fined Tk. 20000.00 for the act.
