Dhaka, November 16: Bangladesh takes on Thailand in a FIFA International Friendly at the Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok on Saturday. Thailand invited Bangladesh to get tuned for their upcoming Suzuki Cup challenges and it will be their last warm up before the meet. Thailand on Thursday beat Bhutan 5-0 with forward Apipoo Sunthornpanavej scoring a hat-trick. Till date, Bangladesh and Thailand had faced each other on 13 occasions with Thailand winning eight, Bangladesh winning two and the other three finishing in draws. Bangladesh last faced Thailand back in 1994 in Dubai in the World Cup qualifiers. Bangladesh coach Saiful Bari Titu was upbeat with challenges on the eve of the match at venue on Friday. “It’s a great opportunity for us to see where we stand, Thailand are superior in every context but we will play positive football, the footballers will earn great experience by playing these kind of matches” said Titu. Titu said the players will not feel uncomfortable in the weather however the temperature revolves around 32 to 33 degrees.
