Dhaka, December 1: Bangladesh
U-23 football team manager Satyajit Das Rupu upon arrival of the team at the
Colombo send the clear cut message to his players “Bangladesh U-23 team are
here to win the trophy” on Saturday.
Bangladesh team enjoyed their inaugural practice session
at the tournament venue of Jayathilaka Stadium and the players started their
workouts focusing upon attainment of the goal.
Bangladesh team is staying Kothmale Holiday Resort, Nawalapitiya is a town in central
province in Sri Lanka in Kandy and it is 135 km from Colombo, the Sri Lankan capital.

thought the title of last SA Games U-23 football will be the motivating factor
for the booters. “We are reigning SA Games football champions and it was a U-23
level tourney, we played our best to win the title and hope we will continue
the trend” said the manager.
Coach Saiful Bari Titu
was echoing the same sound. “The team is balanced and ready to play good
football, the whole nation including me has high hopes upon the team, I have
every belief that I we can produce our hundred percent in the field there is no
team that can beat us” opined Titu.
Pakistan prepared themselves under Serbian coach Zavisa Milosavjevic for two
weeks in Lahore
before departing for the tournament. Maldives will be guided by their
Hungarian coach Istivan Urbanyi.
