Jamal Dhanmondi Club thrashed Arambagh Krira Sangha 4-0 in the Grameenphone Bangladesh
Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Jamal took the lead in
the 33rd minute through Nigerian Striker Mike Otagareri who headed
home off a corner of winger Shakil Ahmed from the right flank. (1-0)
After the break, Arambagh came close to level the margin in the 55th minute but their midfielder Sabuj Das missed an
open net chance as his shot went outside the post.
Winger Shakil Ahmed doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with a
fierce left-footed shot from the box following a cutback of Midfielder Alamgir

Sunday Chizoba scored the third for Jamal in the 66th minute. Winger
Shakil provided a through pass from the midfield to Sunday who capitalized the
ball and placed it into the net by left foot after dodged past Arambagh

his second and sealed the victory for Jamal in the stoppage time by second
attempt from acute angel after his first shot blocked by Arambagh substitute
goalie Biplob Kumar Mali.
