Dhaka, January 12: A ten men Brothers Union registered their first victory in the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League beating Arambagh KS 2-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday. Brothers who lost their six consecutive matches took the lead in the 19th minute with Brazilian forward Garcia Anderson converting a penalty (1-0). Brothers were reduced to ten men in the added time of the first half when defender Ashraful Karim was sent off due to vicious foul on Arambagh’s Nche Francis. Kingsley Chigozie, the Nigerian forward of Brothers Union scored the second in the 60th minute as he dribbled past two defenders in the left flank and placed the ball in the far post net from the middle of the box (2-0). Brothers opened their account with three points while Arambagh also has three points from seven matches.
