Dhaka, January 22: The Dutch coaches, Lodewijk de Kruif and Rene Koster will be beside the Bangladesh national team in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held in March in Nepal.
Lodewijk de Kruif and Rene Koster who signed a MOU with BFF for two years on January 12 agreed to arrive to Bangladesh on February 20th. Though the services of the Dutch duo is scheduled to come into effect from June 1st , BFF requested them to take the charge of the national team for three weeks to guide them from February to take part in the AFC Challenge Cup qualifying round.
The coaches said that they will confirm their arrival after their return to Holland and they confirmed that they will be in Dhaka on Tuesday. “I told him that the coach would get one month’s salary in line with the MoU he signed with the federation. In addition, we will pay him a handsome bonus if he could take Bangladesh to the finals of the AFC Challenge Cup” said Kazi Salahuddin, the president of BFF. The AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers will be played by Bangladesh, Nepal, Palestine and Northern Mariana Island from March 2 in Nepal.
