08: Team BJMC earned full points beating Soccer Club Feni 2-1 in second leg of Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. Team BJMC dominated
the whole match with their attacking mode from the very beginning and got the
results. Team BJMC took the
lead through their Nigerian striker Ajagun Abdur Rasheed in the 12th
minute of the match. Midfielder Omar Faruk Babu sent a through pass to Rasheed
whose fierce right footer from the edge of box hit the left corner of the net.
(1-0) The Nigerian
striker again scored for the official team two minutes later by an angular placing
shot off a defender Obaidur Rahman’s cross curved from the right flank. (2-0) Soccer came back in
the game in the 75th minute when striker Aminur Rahman Sajib’s powerful
angular shot beat BJMC goalie Aminul Haque after he capitalizes Rony Islam’s
pass. (2-1). The Feni outfit Soccer
Club tried to level the score but all their efforts ruined due to lack of
skilled finishers.
In the first leg Team BJMC also won over Soccer Club 1-0. Team BJMC took
their tally to 15 points from the 11 matches while Soccer Club remained bottom
with their previous collection 3 points from 10 matches.
