Dhaka, March 14: A ten-member high-profile delegation of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) will arrive at Dhaka on a one-day visit to Bangladesh on Friday.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin’s invited his Qatari counterpart last month in a bid to involve the BFF with the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The delegation comprises QFA president Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani, general secretary Hassan Abdullah HR AL-Thawadi, assistant secretary and finance director of Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee Khalid Ghanim AL-Kubaisi, three members of the committee and officials of QFA president’s office.
It is the first time that a high delegation of the QFA will be visiting Bangladesh after the country was awarded the hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The QFA delegation is expected to extend their assistance regarding the BFF FootballAcademy also.
