Dhaka, April 8: National head coach Lodewijk de Kruif and assistant coach Rene Koster arrived at Dhaka on Monday evening. The Dutch head coach expressed disappointment over the mode of exit of Bangladesh from the AFC Challenge Cup. De Kruif who is scheduled to depart to Holland on 14th April explained the cause of his short visit. “We are here to look at the accommodation and the other day to facilities, our family will be here and we want to ensure the full focus upon our jobs, I look forward to take the charges in June and I want to put all the required things together” said de Kruif. De Kruif was a disappointed man find Bangladesh out of the AFC Challenge Cup. “Our best result has become null and void, its not logical, the process of qualification was also not good as two among the five groups played later, it does not insert the fair play, the whole qualification process suffered for the withdrawal of only one team, it’s not desired” said the Dutch coach. Talking over his next course of action de Kruif said he is excited over the plan of Bangladesh national team playing in England. “We have got the very important tournament of SAFF Championship in September next and I have certain plans to build the team up for the upcoming challenges, the plan of playing against India and Pakistan on June 1 and 7 will definitely help the team gel together, I will meet the national booters soon” concluded de Kruif.
