Dhaka, April 15: National head coach Lodewijk de Kruif hopes to attach the Dutch schooling system in the Bangladesh football infrastructure after his arrival in the middle of the next month.
The head coach who returned to Holland on Sunday after a week-long visit expressed satisfaction over the available day-to-day facilities. He went through the ‘Pahela Baishakh’ festivals in the capital and thoroughly enjoyed the festive mood. “I loved the display of colours and festive mood, I am all set to warp the deal up in Holland within a few days’ said de Kruif.
De kruif is expected to take the charge in the middle of the May and will have a rollicking start to his career as Bangladesh is scheduled to fly to England to play two international friendlies against India and Pakistan on June 1st and 7th.
BFF is planning to play a couple of international friendlies before the SAFF Championship billed to kick off at Nepal on September. “We are trying to arrange matches against Thailand, Malaysia, Bahrain, U.A.E and Kuwait, we hope to play at least four matches before from the end of the July to end of August” said Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the chairman of the National Teams Committee.
