May 27: Bangladesh will face Iraq in the opening match of the AFC U-19
Championship Group C qualifiers on 8th October this year.
The group C qualifiers will kick off from 8th October at the Francouse
Al-Hareeri Stadium, in Iraq where hosts Iraq, Kuwait, Pakistan and Bangladesh from
Group C will fight for final round slots.
Bangladesh
will play against Kuwait on 10th October and Pakistan on 12th
October.
Total 40 nations are taking part splitting nine groups. The
Group winners of the nine groups; five from West Zone and four from East will
book a ticket to the October 2014 finals alongside with six best-placed sides
and hosts Myanmar.
The
AFC U-19 Championship also serve as the qualifiers for the FIFA U-20 World Cup
with the top-four sides of the 2014 edition booking a place each in the FIFA
U-20 World Cup to be held in New Zealand in 2015.
