Dhaka, May 31: Wari Club beat Farashganj 3-1 in the 2nd leg
of Premier Bank Bangladesh Championship League at the Bangabandhu National
Stadium on Friday. In the first leg, Farshganj SC played a 1-1 draw with Wari Club. Wari took the lead very early 5th minute through their
forward Jewel Rana while Farashganj leveled the score riding on their forward
Parvez 2 minutes later. Forward Titu put Wari ahead again in the 17th minute and
sealed the victory in the 29th minute by a penalty shot.
Md. Rubel of Wari club was sent off for double yellow cards in the 68th minute of the match. With this win, Wari took their tally to 16 points from 12 matches
while Farashganj remained their previous earning of 14 points from the same
number of encounters.
