De Kruif, Koster sign deals
Dhaka, June 13: Dutch coaches Lodewijk de Kuif and assistant coach Rene Koster signed a two year deal with the Bangladesh Football Federation at the BFF House on Thursday.
The Dutch head coach was happy to see the proceedings. “I want to give thanks to BFF from both of us because invite to come in Bangladesh and to finalize of our contract. It was a important issue and also to give us the opportunity to watch the Super Cup. So we are see our players again and scout little bit extra and come to a final decision about our selection” said de Kruif.
“We are surprised to see the vision about 2022, it’s a very good initiative and we should support that. We are very happy to come over and visit one week and then go back. then start of July we will back again to start our job and preparation for Saff championship for the long journe” added the Dutch.
Assistant coach Rene Koster also was upbeat. “Lodwewijk already told lot of our plans. I also can tell you little bit about youth. In october, also under-19 team will be playing a very important tournament. I think it’s the start of the future may be they can play in the 2018 or 2022 or may be early. we are also going to work on that in coming weeks make some plannings. We hope we can make good preparation for the boys. We gonna start with national team in few weeks” said Koster.
Commenting upon the Vision 2022 de Kruif said” It’s not possible if you not start. Of course possible, it’s a long journey. It still nine years to go. So it’s of course possible” hoped Kruif.
The Dutch duo will depart to Holland on June 18th and will return to accomplish their two year contract from July 1st.
