National team gets new trainer
Dhaka, July 1: National assistant coach Rene Koster and new trainer Muhammet Yamali conducted the first session of the national football team camp at the BFF artificial turf on Monday.
The new trainer was excited with his new role. “I am a physical therapist and coach. I am 24-year old. Dutch-born Turkish. My goal is to get the players as fit as possible for the SAFF Football championship to win it. So we can reach our goal to win the title. As much as I know that Bangladeshi players did not know their body, I would like to teach the players how to control the body and of course controlling the body is very important in every sports” said Yamali.
Rene Koster said that head coach Lodewijk de Kruif will arrive at Dhaka on Friday next. Koster in his initial briefing asked the players to work hard and believe in themselves to win the SAFF Championship scheduled to be held in September next.
