Dhaka, July 10: Bangladesh National Team beat Team
BJMC 2-0 in a practice match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
National team had chance to take the lead in the 20th minute
of the match but goalie Himel saved a right footer of midfielder Mobarak on a
back pass of striker Zahid Hasan Ameli in the 20th minute.
BJMC were very close to score in the 24th minute as
Bangoura’s shot was saved by Biplob dived to the right on a cutback of Nepali
from the right.
Parvez squandered another chance for BJMC in the 34th minute as his shot miss the post
having one-on-one situation with goalie Bplob.
However, striker Wahed Ahmed broke the deadlock in the 51st
minute with elegant placing shot. After receiving a lob shot with chest, the
sensation striker put the ball into the middle of net beating opponent goalie
Himel. (1-0)
Wahed doubled the lead and sealed the victory for national team in the
86th minute with a tap in. Left defender Atikur Rahman Meshu put a
cross from the left flag to Wahed who tapped the ball into the net after
opponent goalie failed to hold the ball. (2-0)
