Dhaka, July 16: Rene Koster, the head coach of the Bangladesh national U-16 team hopes to lift the title of the SAFF U-16 Championship scheduled to start from July 20th at Kathmandu .
The Bangladesh team departs for the Nepalese capital on Wednesday morning. Rene Koster, was looking to form the team of the future. “The goal is to build the players of tomorrow who will play in the national in the same style, that’s the goal and the players will obtain a good experience playing in the international circuit, wherever we play we want to win it and in Nepal it is not be an exception” said Koster.
The Dutch coach thought his players are good learners. “There are some players who I hope will shine in the future, three four players are very skillful, Bangladesh coaches are not very helpful as they keep their position high, but coaches are to remain in the same level to sort the problems out, the communication process is not very comfortable, overall the team is good and cool, they are good learners” thought the Dutch.
Nepal is hosting 2nd SAFF Championship in Kathmandu from July 20-30. Pakistan is the defending champions.
The draw for the championship will be held in the managers' meeting on July 19.
