Nat'l team flies to Bangkok on Sunday
Dhaka, July 27: A 24-member Bangladesh national team flies to Bangkok on Sunday to play two practice matches against the Thai national team. The nine-day trip will finish on August 5.
The dates of the two practice matches have not been finalised yet and Kazi Nabil Ahmed, chairman of National Team’s Committee, informed that the two coaches will decide when they will play those matches following a meeting on Saturday.
The Dutch head coach of Bangladesh Lodewijk de Kruif was happy with the progress., “I am very interested in winning games because that is why we are working, the most important thing is development and be ready to face September challenges” said de Kruif.
“I am very happy with the attitude of the players because they want to learn, they want to adopt on the way we want to play” added the Dutch.

The Dutch coach said they will finalise the squad for Saff Championship after a week or 10 days after playing the practice match against Pakistan in Dhaka.
Kazi Nabil gave details of the Pakistan friendly. “We had a discussion with Pakistan Football Federation to play one practice match in Dhaka. Hopefully Pakistan team will arrive in Dhaka on August 11. National team will play against Pakistan on August 13 and Pakistan team will play another practice match against BFF XI on August 16,” informed Nabil.
Vice president Tabith Awal, general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were also present on the occasion.
