Bangladesh face Thai U-19
Bangkok, August 02: Bangladesh will play against Thailand U-19 in
their 2nd practice match at the Osotspa Stadium, Bangkok on Saturday.
Bangladesh conceded 2-1 defeat against Osotspa Sarabury FC but head coach Lodewijk De Kruif fully concentrated technical, tactical
and mistakes of the players rather than results. “These are practice matches I
am not concerned about the result rather I am focusing on the technical, tactical
and mistakes of the players. Tomorrow also we will focus on these sides of the
team. These teams are matured and very much organized.” said the coach.
National team will miss their two wingers Jahid and Mobarak on
Saturday match due to their injury. Both of them did not join the practice on
Friday but Physio Yamali Muhammet was not worry. He hoped that they would join
the main team soon.
The team conceded two goals
against Osotspa Sarabury FC last practice match and defenders made some
mistakes also due to misunderstanding. But defender Yamin Munna thinks that Bangladeshi
defenders are now more discipline. “Our defenders played in the different
clubs. So the understating did not come up so easily. But we are practicing for
a month now so the bonding is coming up day by day. We are trying to play build
up from the defence and the coaches are teaching us well. ” said the defender.
Defender Ariful Islam also thought that he learned many things from
last match mistakes.“ They are very organized and strong team. We played with our plan but they played with
good maturity to beat us. We missed couple of chances which turned us costly
for us. But it is good for us that we have learned from our mistakes and next
time we will try to overcome that. Ariful added.
