BD to meet Kuwait Thursday
Dhaka, October 09: Bangladesh will face Kuwait in their second match
of the AFC U-19 Championship 2014 qualifiers at the Al-Hareeri Stadium, Iraq on
Thursday.
Head Coach Rene Koster was not disappointed after conceding a 6-0 defeat
against Iraq on Tuesday. “Iraq is very strong team and yesterday they play like
Barcelona. There is lots of running without balls and very good passes from
Iraq and we have to admit that Iraq is very good team.” told the coach.
But the Dutch man hoped his boys learned lots from the previous match
and they would not do any mistakes. “We can see that there is lots of
difference between Middle East and South East Asia. I hope our players learn
from their mistakes and they will not do the same mistakes in the next
match."
"We evaluate the Iraq match, we talked about it and our players
learned from this match. And we know that Kuwait is not that strong like Iraq.
Kuwait team is physically strong with some good players too. If we can play
like Dhaka or the first 15 min against Iraq we can have a good game in our
favor. Lastly I want to add that from this sort of tournament we can learn lots
of things”. He added.
