Muktis wrap up formalities
Dhaka, November 13: Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra completed their local players registration formalities signing 23 local players at the BFF House on Wednesday.
Former national captain and goalkeeper Aminul Haque, former national forward Enamul Haque, winger Jahed Parvez Chowdhury, midfielders Maruf Ahmed and Imtiaz Sultan Jitu were the prominent names of the latest squad of Muktijoddha who reached semifinals of the three tournaments and finished sixth in the Bangladesh Premier League last season.
Coach Shafiqul Islam Manik hoped his players will provide the hundred percent and they will fight to prove their worth. “There are a number of experienced players and there are some exciting youngsters also, I hope to the team spirit will transform them to match winners and we will fight for the title in every tournament and league” said Manik.
Manik said one player from Haiti, two Egyptian and three Nigerians Eleta Benjamin, Eleta Kingsley and Agbul Inaligviu are in the trials and their registration will be completed in due time.
