Dhaka, November 23: Zahid Hasan Ameli's hat-trick steered Dhaka
Mohammedan Sporting Club limited to register a 5-2 win over Rahmatganj MFS in
the Walton Federation Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
The win guided Mohammedan into the quarter
final from group 4. Dhaka Abahani limited also reached quarter final from this
group as they beat Rahmatganj 3-0 in the group’s first match.

Jahid Hossain put Mohammedan ahead in the 23rd minute with a free
kick from the 20 yards.
Mohammedan doubled the lead in the 35th
minute through their forward Zahid Hasan Ameli who put a cross from the left to
the goal post but Rahmatganj goalie Samiul Islam Masun failed to grip the ball
and it went into the net. (2-0)
Ameli scored his second goal and third for his
team from a penalty in the 55th minute. Winger Zahid was brought
down by Rahmatganj goalie Samiul Islam Masum in the box and Referee Md. Jalal
Uddin whistled for spot kick. Ameli converted the spot kick without any mistake.

Rahmatganj reduced the margin in the 79th
minute when their forward Nurul Absar placed a ball into the net on cross of
midfielder Md.
Arafat from the left. (3-1)
Ameli completed his hat-trick with a header
from a cross of Jahid from the right in the 87th minute. (4-1)
Forward Wahed scored fifth goal for Mohammedan
in the 90th minute with a header on Ameli’s chip.(5-1)
Nurul Absar scored his second and also for his
team Rahmatganj in the stoppage time from a penalty. (5-2)
