Jamal make a good start

Club a made good start in the Bangladesh Premier League beating Chittagong
Abahani limited 3-1 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Sheikh Jamal went ahead through centre-back Md.
Nasir Uddin in the 14th minute of the match. Defender Md. Linkon floated a
cross from left flank for Haitian forward Wedson, whose header was half-stopped
by Chittagong Abahani’s goalie Piaruzzaman. The wily Nasir was in front of the
goal to nod the rebounder in. (1-0)
Ctg Abahani had a chance to equalize in the
42nd minute but Ahsanul Haque Milon’s header, on a corner from defender
Mahfujur Rahman, sailed over the crosspiece.
Nigerian forward Emeka Darlington doubled
Sheikh Jamal’s lead in the 50th minute with a sliding stab on a low cross
midfielder Sohel Rana. (2-0)
Darlington netted third goal in the 69th
minute with powerful left footer on a rebound after his compatriot Ali Abdullah
shot hit the crosspiece. (3-0)
Ahsanul Haque Milon reduced the margin from a
penalty in the 81st minute. Jamal defender Nasiruddin brought down
Ctg Abahani’s forward Sohel Mia in the danger zone and referee Jashim Uddin
whistled for Penalty. Milon converted from the spot kick. (3-1)
Midfielder Masuk Mia jony of Ctg Abahani missed
another chance having open net but his shot went over the crosspiece on pass of
Sohel Mia.
