BFF honours its lawmakers
Dhaka, January 28: Bangladesh Football Federation accorded a reception to its vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed and executive committee member Shamsul Haque Chowdhury for becoming lawmakers in the recent parliamentary elections at the BFF House on Tuesday.
BFF vice president and the deputy minister for youth and sports Arif Khan Joy was absent in the reception as he had to go to Tangail for government office commitments.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin look forward to the optimum support from the lawmakers. “Firstly they are the football orgainsers, they are well aware of what to do for football, it’s a honour to see that three football federation members have been elevated as the member of parliament, i hope they will contribute towards the game” said Salahuddin.
Kazi Nabil Ahmed vowed to assist football to his limit. “Football needs a lot of work and we with our positions will try our best to help it,” said Nabil.
Shamsul Haque Chowdhury describing football as his first love said the relationship is eternal and developing football remains as his focal point.
