Russel lost to Rimyongsu 4-0
Dhaka, September 24: Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited lost
to Rimyongsu Club of North Korea 4-0 in the AFC President's Cup Group B final at
Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo on Wednesday.
Ri Jin-hyok opened the scoring in the 30 minutes for the
North Korean club and captain Pak Song-chol doubled the lead with a free-kick before the half-time break.
Ro Hak-su scored third goal in the 51st minute
and Kim Kyong-il added fourth goals in the 60th minute.
This is the second convincing victory of Rimyongsu of the
tournament after they had crushed FC Erchim of Mongolia 5-0 on Monday.
As a result, Rimyongsu top Group B with six points, with
Sheikh Russel runners-up a further three behind and Erchim, without a point,
bottom of the table.
Rimyongsu will play with the winner of Group A in
final on Friday to become AFC President's Cup champion.
