BD-SRI ready for 2nd friendly
Dhaka, October 26: Bangladesh faces Sri Lanka in the second of the two match SS Steel Fifa International Friendly Series at 3:00 pm at the Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium, Rajshahi on Monday.
The first one ended in a 1-1 stalemate at Jessore on October 24th.
Bangladsh coach Saiful Bari Titu said they are under pressure of winning the the match. “We are under pressure. We should have won the first game as we are home team and could have won the previous one if the chances we had was utilised. We must take lessons from that game and pressure is good only when you take it as motivation,” said Titu.
However his counterpart Serbian coach Nikola Kavazovic was ready to fight. “We saw almost perfect performance from the home team. we must play faster, one-two touch football, better offensive-defensive transition,”said the Sri Lankan coach.
