Muktis thrash Baridhara

February 17: Muktijoddha Sanghsad KC thrashed Uttar Baridhara Club 4-0 in the
Federation Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday’s second match.
Forward
Enamul Haque put Muktijoddha ahead in the seven minute of the match. Midfielder
Zahid Parvez curved a cross in the box, Senegalese forward Camara Sababa
chested the ball down to Enamul whose left footer landed in the far post net.

Uttar
Baridhara had chance to level the score but midfielder Md. Javed’s long range
shot was fisted away by Muktijoddha’s goalie Titumir Chowdhury for a corner.
In the 45
minute Muktijoddha’s Egyptian midfielder Fekry Zeiada hit the sidepost from the top
of the box.
Muktijoddha
doubled the margin through their substitute forward Md. Biplob in the 84th
minute. Forward Enamul sent a through pass to forward Biplob who shot into the net
beating Baridhara goalie Md. Rajib. (2-0)
Enamul
scored his second and third for Muktijoddha in the 88th minute.
Faisal Mahmud cut low cross from the right flank, Senegalese forward Carara
paved the way and Enamul placed the ball into the net. (3-0)
Midfielder Anwar
Hossain sealed victory for Muktijoddha with a placing shot in the injury time.
