Jamal, Russel to fight for final slot
Dhaka,
February 28: Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will face Sheikh Russel KC in the
first semifinal of Federation Cup
2014-15 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
The match
will kick off at 5:00 PM.
Sheikh Russel manger Jewel Rana is little bit worry about their players’
injury problems as midfielder Jahid, Hemonto
and defender Reza, Jamal were injured. But Jewel Rana is confident to do better
with their foreign collection. “Our two midfielders Jahid, Hemonto and two
experienced defenders Reza, Jamal are injured. So, we cannot go to the field
with full strength.” Said the team Manager in a pre-match press meet at BFF
House on Saturday.
But the manager believed that foreign recruits will change the fate of
the match. “ We have some good foreign players in our team. They have
capability to change the match results. Besides this we have some talented
national players. So, we are ready to show our performance.” Told Jewel Rana.
On the other hand Jamal’s coach Maruful Haque face different problems.
Some players are suffering of fatigue syndrome as they are playing continuously
a long time. “Our 4/5 players have some fatigue syndrome problems as they have
been play for a year continuously. We saw these problems last match. We are
working on it. Hope there will be no impact on the match.
Both teams played against each other four times. Russel won two matches while Jamal won one and rest one match ended draw.
