MSC rout Muktis

29: Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd staged a brilliant comeback to beat
Muktijoddha 3-2 in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu
National Stadium on Wednesday.
Muktijoddha
took the lead in the 40th minute through their forward Md. Biplob
who ran past the defence with a through pass of Enamul and placed it into the
far post net (1-0).
Enamul
Haque, the skipper of Muktijoddha doubled the lead in the 42nd minute
as he dribbled past his marker with a square pass of Camara Sarba and blasted
home from close range (2-0)
Ismael
Bangoura, the Guinean forward reduced the margin off a penalty in the 55th
minute (2-1).
Mohammedan equalized
in the 80th minute substitute midfielder Md. Ibrahim as he took
control of a low cross of Touhidul Alam Sobuj in the six yard box and placed
the ball into the net (2-2)
Ismael
Bangoura slammed his second penalty in the 82nd minute when he was
brought down by Muktijoddha defender Ashraful Karim in the middle of the box,
the penalty was duly converted (3-2)
After this
win Mohammedan went up to 12 points from 6 match while Muktis remained their
previous earning of 12 points from 6 matches.
