Dhaka, June 2:
Bangladesh drew with Afghanistan 1-1 in the Fifa Friendly International at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
In a rain soaked
pitch Afghanistan struggled to deliver their normal game, Bangladesh on the
other hand was an organized outfit, taking an early lead Bangladesh mixed
control and counterattacks to keep the momentum, Afghanistan piled up a lot of
pressure in the finishing stage but Bangladesh kept their fort intact. But in
the injury time conceded the equalizer.
Bangladesh have never
lost against Afghanistan in the five meetings.
