Dhaka, August 17: Hosts Bangladesh lock horns with India in the final of the SAFF U-16 Football Championship at the Sylhet stadium on Tuesday. The final will kick-off at 5:00 pm. BTV will transmit the match live.

in the group stage Bangladesh edged past India 2-1 but ii is the final no team is taking nothing for granted.

Bangladesh coach Syed Golam Zilani was inspiring his team. "We know final is a different ball game and India are tactically and technically sound, but in front of of the home crowd, we are ready to put the best and win the title" said Zilani.

Captain Shawon Hossian echoed the same tune. "We are in the final and we are not to lose the opportunity of winning the title, we are ready to fight for the country" said Shawon.

Indian coach Biththan Singh however threw challenge to the hosts. "We are not afraid of the hosts, we have certain plans for them and if we can implement it we will win the title" said the Indian coach.
