Bangladesh geared up to face Jordan
Dhaka,
September 7: Bangladesh currently ranked 173 in the Fifa ranking faces 91
ranked Jordan in the Fifa and AFC Cup Joint Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu
National Stadium on Tuesday.
It will be the first face-off between the two team in the international arena.
In the
official presser at the BFF House on Monday the Dutch coach of Bangladesh
Lodewijk de Kruif aspired to show the improvement. “Against Australia in Perth
we were disorganized in the first quarter of the match, but later we settled
down, we want to start ÂÂÂ from there,
Australia was a wonderful team and that was a big experience for our booters,
Jordan is not far behind Australia, they are also a god team who have played
the World Cup play-off against Uruguay, we want to play a good brand of
football with more attacking flair that we have played against Australia” said
Lodewijk de Kruif.
Paul Put,
the Belgian coach of Jordan wanted to prove his superiority in the field. “Yes,
we are ranked higher than Bangladesh, but it is not the end of the story, in
football your ranking goes through ups and downs, it is the field where you can
win, we have prepared ourselves for this match and we want to win, though the
climate and the weather is a concern to us, we haveÂÂÂ traveled18 hours to reach
Dhaka, I hope there will be no rain tomorrow” said Put.
Channel 9
Bangladesh will transmit the match live from 5:00 pm.
