Dhaka, October 4: Uzbekistan beat Sri Lanka 3-0 in the group A of the AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.

Tukhtasinov Nurillo put the Uzbeks ahead in the eighth minute  with a fine placing shot on a cross of Kodirkulov Sanjar from the right flank(1-0).

Doston Ibragimov extended  the lead in the 20^th minute after being fed up by. Kodirkulov Sanjar who cut a neat through pass from the midfield (2-0)

 Kodirkulov Sanjar  wrote his name in the scorers list  in the 33th minute utilising a pass of Sharof Mukhitdinov during a goal-mouth melee (3-0).

 Uzbekistan who beat Bhutan 6-0 in the first game now have six points while Sri Lanka are yet to open their account after losing 2-0 to Bangladesh in their first match.
