Lopez looks for good show
Dhaka, November 5: Bangladesh flies to Tajikistan to play the Fifa and Asian Cup Joint Qualifier on Friday.
Head coach Fabio Lopez was looking forward to put a good show. "We are not scared of Tajikistan who will be a formidable opponent in their own yard, we are improving with every match, the boys are responding to my football philosophy well. I am satisfied with the response, Bangladesh drew 1-1 with Tajikistan in June at Dhaka, but ob November 12 it would be a new day and new match, the match will be played in a cool weather and on turf, we still have some problems to fix but after landing in Dushanbe, I think we will be able to mend it" said the Italian head coach in the official presser at the BFF House.
Skipper Mamunul Islam wants shrug off the label of playing below par in away matches. "Usually it was seen that we fail to maintain the level in away matches, we want to break the tradition, our improvement is not visible as we are not winning the matches, we want to play for the country" said Mamunul.
