Bangladesh draws with Malaysia
Dhaka, January 12: Bangladesh survived a scare drawing 1-1 with Malaysia in the group A match of Bangabandhu Gold Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
Bangladesh has made two changes with goalkeeper Rana coming in instead of Sohel, midfielder Hemanta Vincent has replaced Sohel Rana.
0 Min: Referee whistled and the match started.
6 Min: Syahid Zaidon cuts a low free kick in the right hand post of Rana who dives full to save the ball for a corner.
8 Min: Ahmed Syamim Yahya lobs from about 20 yards, BD goalie Rana fists the ball for another corner. Malaysia on the charge.
13 Min: BD wins a corner in the left hand flag, Mamunul Islam's low corner deflects from defender and hit the side post.
20 Min. Bangladesh Jamal Bhuiyan delivers a long ball in the right flank, Jahid Hossain runs down the flank and comes to the near post but his shot deflects of Malaysian defender and goes for a corner.
21 Min. BD keeps the pressure, wins another corner.
30 Min. The score remain same. Both teams are playing on counter attack basis.
34 Min. Almost a goal. Ahmed Syamim Yahya chips a low ball in the middle of the box, captain Adan Shukur heads the ball toward the post, Rana makes a brilliant save and BD survive.
36 Min. Shakawat Rony misses a golden chance, he fires past the side bar with Malaysian Farizal alone under the post.
41 Min. BD survive again as Nor Fazly Alias's 20 yards hit the crosspiece.

The match ended 1-1 draw.
Bangladesh will take Nepal on Friday next at the Bangabandhu National Stadium and Malaysia will face Sri Lanka on same day at the same stadium.
