BD ready for Tajik test
Dhaka, June 6: Bangladesh team head coach Lodewijk De Kruif hoped revive the fortune against visiting Tajikistan in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers home play-off match at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Though Bangladesh conceded a 5-0 defeat to Tajikistan in the away match at Dushanbe last Thursday, the head coach Lodewijk Darius Kruif still expressed his hope. “Everything possible in the football. We will take the field for a victoryy. Although it is very difficult to win against team like Tajik, but boys will try their level best, I assure that it will be a difficult match for the visitors,” said De Kruif in a pre-match conference held at the BFF House on Monday.
On the other hand Tajikistan coach Khakim Fuzaylov is not taking Bangladesh lightly as everything can happen in the football. “We must forget the first result 5-0 and be prepared for the tomorrow’s match. Because this is the play-off round and everything can happen. We will do our best, however the conditions are not very favouring for us, it’s a difficult condition” said Tajikistan coach Khakim Fuzaylov.
The match will start at 4 4: 30 pm and BTV will telecast the match live.
