BJMC in last four

June 2016: Team BJMC moved into the last four beating Muktijoddha Sanghsad KC 1-0
in the Walton Federation Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday.
Muktijoddha
came close to score in the very fifth minute but BJMC goalie Arifuzzaman Himel
fisted the ball away to safety from a left footer of forward Towhidul Alam
Towhid.
BJMC
midfielder Shankar Das saw his shot punching away by Muktis goalie in the 40th
minute.
In the 45th
minute Towhid shot was save for corner BJMC goalie.
BJMC had an opportunity
to move ahead in the 82nd minute when Samson Illiasu’s placing shot on
a cross of forward Shaikat Mahmud was punched to safety by keeper Mamun Khan.
BJMC broke
the deadlock in the 90th minute through their forward Mehedi Hasan
Tapu. Midfielder Abdullah Parvez curved a corner from the right flag to the
middle of the box where Tapu headed the ball in to the far of the net. (1-0)
Team BJMC
will play against Arambagh KS in the first semifinal on Thursday next.
