Ctg Abahani, MSC, Soccer and BJMC introduced
Dhaka, 16 July 2016: The second day of the team introduction of JB Bangladesh
Premier League organized by Bangladesh Football Federation held at the BFF
House on Saturday.
Chittagong Abahani Limited, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Feni
Soccer, Team BJMC revealed their target in the BPL.
Chittagong Abahani captain Mamunul Islam insists that Chittagong Abahani
has formed team for championship. "We want to forget our federation cup memory.
We have capacity to be champion but it is not easy. The road is not a bed and
roses. We have to fight like team, Russel, Jamal, Abahani and Mohammedan. To
win against them we have to give our best as well as more than that. We created
history winning Sheikh Kamal International Football championship. We also will
create history to be champion in the Bangladesh Premier League,"said Mamun.
Mohammedan Sporting Club want to play well in the BPL. Mohammedan
coach Mohammed Jasimuddin Joshi hoped his team will fight for championship. “We
did not form team like champion but we will fight for championship. Mohammedan
means a tradition who always play for championship. So, MSC boys always be
ready to give more. We will play for top position in the league. Our target is
to be champion,” said former Mohammedan players in a team introducing ceremony.
Mohammedan captain and Guinean forward Ismael Bangoura, “We will go
into the field to do some special things. That may be championship. We can
defeat any team in our days,” said Bangoura.
Feni Soccer's Nigerian coach
Ladi Baba Lola said consistency will be a great factor in the upcoming BPL as
all of the teams will be travelling and playing across the country. "I
hope my team will give a consistent performance, we hope to finish on 4th or 5th
place and we are capable of doing it" said the Nigerian. Soccer club
skipper Akbar Hossian Ridon echoed the same tune.
Team BJMC skipper goalkeeper Arifuzzaman Himel said, We have worked hard to rectify the mistakes and the flaws we committed in the last two
tourneys. we are capable of beating any side on our day, we look forward to
play a good brand of football".
JMC coach Saidur Rahman said his players gas worked to be a combined
unit and ready to put a performance that will surprise the other teams.
