August 2016: Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Brothers Union Limited played
out a 2-2 draw in the JB Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangbandhu National
Stadium on Saturday.
Mohammedan skipper Tawhidul Alam Shabuz scored the quickest goal in
this edition of Bangladesh Premier League when he put Mohammedan ahead in the 16th
second after the kick off. Cameroonian midfielder Nzekou Patrice cut a square
pass from the box to Shabuz who completed his job with a right footed placing
shot. (1-0)
Midfielder Masud Rana doubled the margin in the 17th
minute. Brothers defenders failed to clear a Tawhidul Alam Shabuz cross that
fell in fron of unmark Masud Rana who took an angular shot that hit far post
net. (2-0)
Brothers came back into the game in the 22nd minute through
their defender Nkowcha Kingsley. Forward Kawser Ali Rabby curved a corner in
the middle of the box where Nkowcha Kingsley headed the ball into the home.

Brothers were close to level the score in the 37th minute when
midfielder Nazmul Islam Rasel shot from the top of the box was punched over the
crosspiece by Mohammedan goalie Md. Nehal for corner.
