Chinese Taipei and Iran continue winning streak
Dhaka, August 31: Chinese Taipei and Iran continued their winning streak in the group C of the AFC U-6 Womens Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
In the first match of the day Chinese Taipei thrashed Singapore 9-0 with skipper Su Yu Hsuan slamming a hat-trick with strikes in the 3, 83 and 88th minutes, Ching Yun Nien scored brace in the 11 and 91 minutes while Jheng Ya Jih also netted two in the 33rd and 74th minute. The other two were netted by Wu Dailing and Yu Wu Jou in the 13th and 51st minute.
Chinese Taipei earlier beat Kyrgyzstan 7-1, and UAE by 5-0 goals.
In the second match at the same venue Iran inflicted a 5-0 defeat on UAE with Fatemeh Ghashemi slamming her second consecutive hat-trick with strikes in the 23, 37 and 83rd minutes, the other two were scored by Rughayeh Jalal and Marzieh Feizi in the 25th and 90+3 minutes.
Iran lost Bangladesh 3-0 and beat Kyrgyzstan 9-0 in their previous matches.
