Taipei, Kyrgyz win
Dhaka, 05 September 2016: Kyrgyzstan registered first victory in their
last match of the AFC U-16 Women Championship 2017 qualifiers with a 2-1 win
against Singapore
at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday.
Dalinger Viktoria put her team ahead in the 8th
minute and her midfield partner Setora Sultanova added the second in the 17th
minute.
Singapore forward Valarie Ong Siu reduced the margin in
the 76th minute. Kyrgyzstan
finished fifth while Singapore
finished sixth in six in group.
Earlier, Chinese Taipei beat Iran by 6-3 goals. Nien Ching Yun
scored two goals in the 31st and 90+1 minute, Jheng Ya-Zih (10),
Tseng Yun Ya (19), Su Yu Hsuan (83) Lin Hsin Hui (89) net one goal each for Taipei.
On the other hand Roghayeh Jalal netted two
goals in the 50th and 71st minute of the match. Hanieh
Khodaparasti scored in the 30th minute.
Chinese Taipei finished second and Iran
finished third. UAE finished fourth.
