Brothers beat Soccer
Dhaka, 03 November 2016: Brothers Union beat Soccer Club
Feni 3-1 in the 2nd phase of JB Bangladesh Premier League at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
In the first phase match Brothers was held to 1-1 draw by
Soccer Club.
Nigerian forward Nkowcha Kingsley put
Brothers ahead in the 34th minute of the match. Defender Salahuddin
sent a through pass to Kingsley who received and placed the into the net
coolly. (1-0)
Brothers Union doubled the lead in the 50th
minute. Forward Mannaf Rabbi curved a cross in the box and Haitain forward
Augustin Walson headed the ball into the far net. (2-0)
Nkowcha Kingsley scored his second and third
goal for Brothers from a penalty in the 70th minute.
Chowmin Rakhain reduced the margin in the 83rd
minute with a placing shot, the ball fed by Ghanaian forward Twum Frank.
After the win Brothers have 14 points from 12
matches while Soccer remained with 9 points from 12 matches.
